BikeSA is excited to launch a brand-new monthly women’s road riding group, designed to help women build confidence, develop road skills, and enjoy the freedom of riding in a supportive environment.
Whether you’re transitioning into road cycling or looking to learn how to ride with a group, this session is a welcoming place to grow your skills every month. Riders need to be able to ride in cleats as per Tour de Cure ride regulations.
About the Ride
This friendly, confidence-building road ride will help you:
🚴♀️ Learn the basics of group road riding in a safe, guided setting
💬 Build confidence with support from experienced female Ride Leaders
👋 Meet and connect with like-minded women on a similar cycling journey
🤝 Start alongside a Tour de Cure training group and be introduced to their riders
☕ Enjoy a gentle route to Glenelg for a coffee stop before returning to the city
📏 Ride approximately 30km, at a social and supportive pace
👥 Small group experience with a maximum of 15 riders to ensure individual support and guidance
This ride is all about supporting women to feel comfortable and capable on the road. There’s no pressure to be fast or perfect, just come along, learn at your own pace, and enjoy being part of a welcoming cycling community.
