Volunteers are involved in every single aspect of Big Group Hug. That’s because we simply wouldn’t exist without our volunteers.
With the support of our incredible volunteers, we rehome donated and new children’s clothing, nursery equipment, baby products and toy packs. Come make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.
It's a great social environment, the commitment is only 3 hours a week and we're very flexible recognising and understanding that we're all busy people.
We have volunteering opportunities for everyone! In sharing your time, skills and knowledge you will be helping children in crisis while at the same time becoming part of our supportive and friendly community.
What the morning will look like:
- 10.00 am arrival
- 10.15am tour of the warehouse - meet the volunteers and find out more about the incredible work each team does
- 11.00am - piqued your interest? Join us for the last hour and get right into it with some hands-on experience, if you so choose
- 12.00pm finish
