Beyond Cultural Mentoring Workshop
Are you a Indigenous young person the ages of 13-20years old? Then this is for you!
Join us at the Aborigines Advancement League for cultural session provide a grounding, healing and embodied experience in a culturally safe environment with some of the activities being:
- CULTURAL MOVEMENT
- TRADITIONAL GAMES
- EMPOWERING STORY-TELLING
- HEALING BREATH & MEDITIATION
- CONNECTION TO COUNTRY
This is a space to strengthen your cultural connection and also have your say for you, by you. I am hoping to capture with a videographer the stories of our young Indigenous leaders of today but they can't be told without you. Giving you an opportunity to be apart of a fun, engaging, and connective day with your community of other deadly young leaders, you will also have a chance to hear about how you can sign up to be part of my 'Voices of the Future Gala Dinner' 5th July 2024 and the exciting experiences IndigUcation is creating for you.
This is a workshop where I will be looking for young leaders coming through who would fit my IndigUcation mentorship program that provides connection to country, culture and community where there will be a Victorian local cultural camp and a alumni leadership program where the camp will be in far north Northern Territory.
