About this event

Do you have children that make looking after yourself seem difficult or a low priority?

Perhaps you're of an age that you haven't done anything fitness-related for years, decades even?

Are your knees or feet beginning to unhappily 'talk' to you?

Muscles or limbs complaining if you bend or stretch them?

Or simply want to improve your fitness, well-being, mindfulness, balance, strength, flexibility, or happiness?

It's time to do something for yourself, and give Yoga a go to become your best you!

Enjoy a FREE TRIAL YOGA CLASS to see if you'd like to continue to stretch your body and mind to healthier places. These female-only classes are for women of all ages and backgrounds.

Targeted at those with no experience, beginners, or curious to try out the Iyengar style of yoga, you have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Classes happen:

  • Every Monday
  • 7-8pm
  • Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds

Please note: We also run 5-6.30pm General/Intermediates classes on Wednesdays, but you will need to contact Kathy to see if there is space to join these.

INSTRUCTOR: Kathy Elwell has been doing yoga for 40 years. Whilst no spring chicken, the benefits of yoga beam from Kathy's body and soul. Her journey with yoga began at Essential Living Skills, inspiring her to complete a teacher training course at Sydney Yoga Centre, followed by teaching at E.L.S. She was then introduced to Iyengar yoga and undertook a training course with Pixie Lillas at Balmain Yoga Studio in 2002. After becoming a certified Iyengar teacher, Kathy has had various roles, including currently as an instructor at WA School Of Yoga in Shenton Park, her own Yoga Naturally, and now at CECS.
