In this 3 hr watercolour class you will learn the basic techniques of painting with watercolour and how to apply them to the style of painting you would like to explore.
The first hour will be spent learning different watercolour techniques and how traditional and contemporary artists apply these techniques to their artworks. Participants will then have a chance to create their own watercolour works in the style that they prefer. (Styles could include; Traditional Landscape, Still life, Botanical and Contemporary watercolour styles)
*Please prepare reference photos on your phone or printed out, if you have an idea of what you would like to paint.
Halfway through the class, we will break for tea.

Note: This workshop does not run without a minimum of 4 participants. If this requirement is not met the workshop will be cancelled and participants can either receive a refund or reschedule for another date. This workshop may be subject to location changes depending on number of bookings.

- Watercolour paints
- A palette
- Water jar
- Paint brushes
- 2B pencil
- Eraser and watercolour paper
*Watercolour supplies can be purchased at any art shop, but can also be added at an additional cost of $20 on top of the class price and I can supply materials for you for the duration of the class (please let me know at the time of booking if you would like to purchase the supplies from me).
