Beginner Quirky Coasters felting Workshop (Age 16+)

Learn how to wet felt simple coasters with a needle felted feature on top in this fun and instructional workshop.

Ever wanted to try your hand at wet and needle felting? Then join me for a fun morning of woolly goodness making simple quirky felted coasters!

Beginners (age 16+) welcome!

In this workshop, we will go through the basics of wet felting and learn how to create simple coasters for your home. Starting with wet felting, we will then move to needle felt simple animals (or your choice!) to your coaster designs. All materials supplied, with each participant taking home 3 coasters for their collection.

(Please be aware this class involves using soap with direct contact with skin. Where possible, I will source unscented.)

⭐Please note: Participants will be given thick backing to take home and add to their coasters after the event as the coasters will need to fully dry first.

Venue: KIN creative space, Kingston Beach. (Located on the side of the Kingston beach hall). There is lots of parking available nearby.

Time: 9.30am onwards. Wet and dry felting is a very hands on craft so please arrive 5- 10mins early to make yourself a cuppa and settle in. We will be starting class at 9.30am. End time varies but please expect to be at the workshop for a minimum of 4.5 hours.

Meals: A generous morning tea is supplied. Please contact the event organiser for any dietary needs after booking. A short lunch break will be scheduled if needed with many venues nearby to grab some food. Alternatively, a fridge is available for use should you wish to bring your own.

PLEASE READ all information below BEFORE you book. By booking a ticket, you are agreeing to the refund policy outlined.

*16 years plus only. Please do not book tickets for participants under this age, even if accompanied by an adult.

*Wet and dry felting requires the use of a repetitive actions with the hands.

REFUND POLICY

• Workshop tickets are refundable up to 7 days prior to the event only. It is up to the attendee to pay any fee set by Eventbrite to refund the ticket. NO REFUNDS will be issued after the 7 days. Sorry, NO EXCEPTIONS. I am a small business and need to cover costs. By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to this policy. If you cannot attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place. Simply email hellothimble@hotmail.com to notify me of the change.

*NO refunds will be given on the day (or 7 days prior) to those under 16. It is up to the purchaser to read the above policies and note that under 16s cannot attend events that are outlined for over age 16+ only. Please email me prior to purchasing if there are any questions.
