The Mt Pleasant Farmers Market will be buzzing with all things bee, including a bee keeping experience at the World Bee Day celebrations.

Visit the Bees Experience is guided by Phil Marshall
Phil is a commercial beekeeper, regularly teaches beekeeping and has a Cert III in Beekeeping.
Phil will take participants on a 30 minute bee keeping experience. You will be suitability dressed in bee suit, and take a short walk to local beehives to see a working live hive up close and have to opportunity to handle live bees. A child accompanied by an adult is free (one child per adult)
Note: This activity involves live bees. A bee sting is possible. Bee suits and gloves are provided. Covered in shoes are essential.
