Be the Face of Art 2026 - Free Portrait Sketch (PS)

The Pepper Street Arts Centre Sketch Group invites you to sit for them as they sketch your portrait in a relaxed atmosphere. All sessions occur on Thursday afternoons in the Centre's Art Room. By volunteering to sit for the group you are assisting them to keep up their skills. In return, you will enjoy complimentary afternoon tea in our Centre coffee shop and take home unique sketch copies as keepsakes. The only requirement is that you can sit still for a time. No special clothing required. A unique and fun experience that is always enjoyed!

Sessions are Thursdays 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm inclusive of afternoon tea. One sitter per session can be booked. Free.

Please only book if you can keep the date as you are the sole 'sitter' and replacing you close to the time is hard to do! If you can't make it, please offer your spot to a friend, family member or colleague. The group really appreciate your help to keep their sessions. This is generally suited to an adult age group due to the sitting still requirement. Anyone under 18 years must have a parent/guardian sit in the space with them.
