MARKETING TECHNOLOGIES

What is MarTech or Marketing Technology? We all know that the next era of marketing is emerging and all businesses need to understand these changes may it be technology landscape, media landscape and even industry landscape. We don't want to... or should I say we can't lag behind our clients and business partners!

We will demystify MarTech and show you actual examples of marketing technologies used by businesses within the built environment, art and design. We will also show you how to build a MarTech stack that help drives business growth, efficiencies and most importantly return on investment.

Expect the following to be discussed: What is MarTech and why implement it? Client first vs Technology first? Examples of Marketing Technology Stacks from Architecture and Design companies and most importantly what works and how it can be applied to my day to day life.

Nick Smith, Founder of tiny+

Nick is a Sydney-based marketer, web developer, and the founder of tiny+ — business development software for design firms.

Nick has spent ten years working in professional services marketing for Australian property consultants - architects, planners, engineers and more. Nick brings the dual perspective of a marketer with an information systems background, and has specialised in creating marketing systems for design firms.

In the past three years Nick has developed tiny+. tiny+ helps a design firm ‘bring it all together’ — foster a client-centric design culture and stay on top of leads, projects, clients and industry contacts. Some tiny+ clients include ThomsonAdsett, Group GSA, BSPN Architecture, Northrop, Arcadia and Ethos Urban.

Zac Stollznow, Head of Queensland Operations at Domo

Zac has a background in law and technology. He has worked for several disruptive tech companies across APAC including Airbnb & BoardPad, before joining Domo in Australia 2 years ago.

As part of their regional growth, Zac is now leading Domo’s expansion to Queensland having recently set up operations in Brisbane.
