Pain Revolution's vision is thatall Australians will have access to the knowledge, skills and local support to prevent and overcome persistent pain.Led by the University of South Australia's Professor Lorimer Moseley, Pain Revolution is on a mission to get the science of pain out of the research lab, and into the community.One in five Australians live with persisting pain, and less than 10% get the help they need to recover.*Pain Revolution is a grassroots movement charged with changing how people understand pain. The South West Local Pain Collective would like to invite YOU to join us this August in Busselton, (The Good Egg - 38/44 Albert St, Busselton WA 6280 ) at an event that promises to be both entertaining and engaging. Come along if you are experiencing persistent pain, supporting someone with persistent pain or who is involved in pain care and would like to learn moreA light supper will be provided.Learn the insights gained though the career of Kevin Wernli and our expert panel. Kevin is a Physiotherapist, pain researcher and and producer/cohost of the Empowered Beyond Pain podcast. He has recently submitted his PhD thesis investigating the relationship between movement, posture and low back pain. He is also passionate about translating research findings into the real world. Kevin will be joined by a cross-discipline panel of passionate local clinicians who all have a diverse set of skills and experience helping people with persistent pain. The panel will be happy to answer any questions you have about best practice pain care and tips and tricks for getting started on your recovery journey.
