In this course, you’ll learn how to be safer and more secure on the internet, by looking after the many passwords you need to use day-to-day.
Learn about a software called 'Password Manager', how to use it safely, and the alternative uses of a password manager besides organising your usernames and passwords.
This course covers:
- an introduction to password managers
- free and paid password managers
- how to set up a password manager
- other things a password manager can do.
Be Connected is an Australian government initiative committed to increasing the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians. This workshop is presented in conjunction with volunteers from Acoustic Blinds and Curtains, a Be Connected partner, and is based on Be Connected resources.
