Join us for a fun and educational day at the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre Queenscliff where you can improve your Boat Trailer Reversing Skills!

Marine Licence Training and Testing

We are also offering a free boat marine licence course from 9:30am-11:30am

Boat Handling Sessions

• Starting the day – Launching your boat or driving it out of your berth or pen
• Ending the day – Driving your boat back onto the trailer or back into the berth or pen,
• Driving and manoeuvring in forward and reverse
• Driving and turning in confined areas
• Holding station and 3-point turns
• Approaching and departing the dock or jetty without causing damage
• Anchoring
• High-speed handling (weather permitting)
• Handling rough weather

The sessions are free to register. We’re partnering with Peninsula Boat Training to deliver these sessions. There will be 2 trailers operating throughout the clinics with 3 people per trailer.

Our expert instructors will be on hand to provide tips and tricks to help you master the art of backing your trailer with ease. Whether you're a beginner or just looking to brush up on your skills, this clinic is perfect for boating enthusiasts of all levels.
