The Zephyr Project (3-5pm)

The Zephyr Project hails from the highways of South East Queensland performing with their own unique flavour of energetic roots, rock with a rockabilly flair and some serious blues.

When asked to describe themselves…” Imagine Gene Krupa, Ray Charles, Jack Bruce and Jim Heath all had a late-night jam session – that’s the one WE’d want to be at! Timeless lines with a modern drive-train belting out music you can dance to, music you can sing to, music you can drink to. Hot funk, cool punk even if it’s old junk – it’s still rock and roll to us. “

The Zephyr Project can be found most weekends at a festival, event, pub or club in SE Queensland rockin’ it hard, and on Saturday, 1 July 2017 at BAM – Beachmere Art & Music Festival, Moreton Terrace Beachmere.

Band: Rob Williams, Neal Scott, Ian Williams & Joe.

The Counterfeit Umbrellas (as seen on triple j Unearthed) (6.45-7.45pm)

triple J Unearthed describe this group as “A pop-folk fanfare of toe-tapping melodies, soaring harmonies and happy high hopes: that's the joy-evoking sound that Brisbane group, The Counterfeit Umbrellas bring to the stages and ears they grace.”

Their debut Album "I Will Be Your Home" in 2014, received nation-wide airplay and success. Last year they released their self-titled album, “The Counterfeit Umbrellas” which was recorded by ARIA nominated producer Stuart Stuart (Sheppard, The Veronicas), and their smash hit single “Hold Back the Sun” was described by Music is My Muse blog as “a sweet and uplifting tune that will melt even the most pessimistic of hearts”.

Their other notable feats include receiving nationwide radio play for their music, being crowned the winners of the 2015 Westfield Sound Search, and appearing at major music events such as the Caxton Street Festival, the Story Bridge 75th anniversary celebrations, and this year’s Redcliffe Sails Festival.
