About this event

This session will focus on Culture and Identity and is the fifth in a series of sessions that have been organised in response to feedback from the Creating Better Systems for Ballarat’s Children: A Collaborative Workshop for Improvement held in July 2023, coordinated in partnership by Ballarat 4 Kids, City of Ballarat Early Years, and the Children’s Resource Program.

This session will feature a keynote speaker and panel discusssion, and will provide information about available programs and referral pathways. This session will support those working with childnre and families to be more culturally responsive in their work. Come and meet other professionals and learn more about the local services sytem.

The sessions will also include morning tea and networking and collaboration opportunities for staff working within the service system to support children.

The Nest wellbeing framework developed by the Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth continues to provide the foundation for our work.

This session will be held in the the Tree Room at the Ballarat and District Aboriginal Cooperative.
