Back to Basics Wound Care Workshop - Sydney

Presented by Dr Michelle Gibb

Nurse Practitioner of Wound Management and Founder and Director of Wound Specialist Services.

Wish you knew what dressing to use?

Want some handy hints on how to get bandages and dressings to stay where you put them?

Need to know what dressings you can and can’t cut?

Then this practical workshop is for you!

Most workshops give you a whole lot of ‘what’. This workshop will deliver a whole lot of ‘how’!

Focusing on the basics of wound care we will be discussing treatment options for different types of common wounds, how to best address challenges in wound care, and working through ten case studies. The workshop also includes a 90-minute practical session.

The Back to Basics Wound Care workshop will offer healthcare professionals an in-person opportunity to refresh their skills and knowledge in the basics of wound care. Guests will be able to use the time spent in the workshop towards their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements that aim to maintain, improve, and broaden their professional knowledge.

Attendees will also take part in a Trade Show event before, during and after the seminar to meet with suppliers from Ego, Essity, 3M, Sutherland, Convatec, Hartmann, Gama, Halyard, Sanulac, MUN, Bbraun, Smith & Nephew, Medstock, Abbott, Molnlycke, and Coloplast.
