Baby Play at Smithton Library

Baby Play is a small group floor program for parents and their pre-crawling babies aged 0-12 months.

This program enhances the conection between the parent and their baby, focusing on creating a supportive environment for parents and primary caregivers to interact and engage with their baby. It includes sensory activities, songs and sharing simple board books as well as tips and information on supporting your baby’s literacy development from birth.

By registering for a Libraries Tasmania event, you agree to follow our policies – including the Responsible Conduct Policy and Safeguarding Children Policy. Thank you for helping keep our spaces safe and respectful for everyone.

To ensure a successful event, please:

• Don't attend if you are unwell

• Let us know if you have any support needs, or if a support person will be coming with you.
