What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Yoga mats, blankets, cushions & bolsters will be provided. There is water & a large selection of teas for your enjoyment at the venue. Please wear loose clothing & bring anything else you need to ensure you are comfortable throughout the event e.g. water bottle, eye pillow, extra blanket, socks etc.

What time do I need to arrive?

Accepted Answer

It would be preferable that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time so we can perform a cleansing and you can get settled in your spot. The doors will close and be locked at 10.30am and no one will be permitted in after that so as not to interrupt the experience for others.

What is an energy cleansing?

Accepted Answer

Cleansing is an ancient practice. The central ethos is that we are all electromagnetic beings with our own vibrations, continuously receiving & omitting energy. Over time we accumulate different energies & like a good spring clean, we need to remove lingering stagnant energy for self-renewal.

Question 4

How do you perform an energy cleansing?

Accepted Answer

Energy cleansing can be done using smudging rituals (such as burning sage or palo santo), sounds & crystals to release blocked energy. We will be smudging everyone as they arrive with the smoke from sage and palo santo. We will also be anointing your third eye to maximise your experience today.

Question 5

Are there any contraindications I need to be aware of with Ayurvedic Breathwork?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ayurvedic Breathwork is not recommended if you have cardiac issues as it can exacerbate the symptoms. If you are an asthmatic, you are advised to bring along your puffer. Also please be aware that it can trigger underlying trauma & bring it to the surface to shift. We will be there for support.

Are sound baths safe during pregnancy?

Accepted Answer

Crystal singing bowls SHOULD NOT be used during the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy. You can play crystal singing bowls or attend a sound bath after the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy. DO NOT PLACE crystal singing bowls (or any other musical instruments) anywhere on your body if you are pregnant.

Question 7

Are crystal singing bowls safe to use if I have an implanted device or a neurological condition?

Accepted Answer

Crystal singing bowls should be AVOIDED if you have metal implants such as pacemakers and metal pins in your body or if you have neurological conditions such as Epilepsy or Parkinson's Disease.

What if Im worried about whether I should attend or not due to a medical condition?

Accepted Answer

ALWAYS consult your doctor before playing a crystal singing bowl or attending a sound therapy session.
