The Awarding Year 11 RoSA Grades workshop is designed to provide teachers with up to date knowledge and understanding of the process of making consistent judgements in the allocation of grades for Year 11.
The workshop is designed to:
- enhance teacher understanding of the Standards-Referenced framework, which underpins curriculum development, assessment and reporting across all stages of learning in NSW
- provide an opportunity for teachers to discuss changes to Year 11 assessment requirements in 2020 and how these can be effectively implemented in schools
- refine teachers skills in achieving consistent judgements with grade allocation for Year 11
- encourage collegial sharing of ideas and strategies
Completing Awarding Year 11 RoSA Grades will contribute 1 hour of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 5.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
