Our Avas Beach Trip is a relaxed and supportive social day designed to build friendships, confidence, and independence in the community. Participants will enjoy fresh air, movement, and shared experiences in a safe and encouraging group setting.

Perfect for participants who enjoy social outings, outdoor environments, and building everyday life skills in real-world settings.

Date: Monday 9th
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Duration: 7 hours
Location: Departing from 29 Burnett St, Sadliers Crossing

Participants will enjoy a full-day beach outing focused on social connection, outdoor fun, and community participation. Activities may include beach walks, games, relaxation time, and group interaction.

NDIS Costs

NDIS rate: $70.23 per hour

This activity includes:

• 7 hours face-to-face support
• 1 hour non-face-to-face admin time

Calculation:
(7-hour activity + 1 hour admin = 8 hours total billed time ÷ number of participants.)

8 hours × $70.23 = $561.84 total

Minimum group size: 4 participants

$561.84 ÷ 4 = Approx. $140.46 per participant

1:1 support is billed separately if required.

Out-of-Pocket Costs

BYO lunch.

Participants are responsible for bringing their own food, drinks, sunscreen, hat, and any personal spending money if desired.

NDIS participants aged 16+ who enjoy community access, social connection, and outdoor activities in a supportive group environment.
