About the artist
Tetiana Koldunenko is a Sydney-based artist whose work explores the details, rhythms, and textures of the Australian bush. Educated at the Ukrainian Academy of Art and Architecture in Kyiv, the Florence Design Academy in Italy, and UNSW COFA, she brings over twenty years of global experience in painting, design, and visual storytelling.

Since relocating from Kyiv to Australia in 2010, Tetiana has developed a deep affinity for native flora. Her signature technique blends sculptural relief surfaces with finely detailed realism, allowing each painting to shift with light and perspective. Her current body of work, Echoes of the Bush, captures the individuality of Australian species—from the chromatic subtleties of eucalyptus leaves to the architecture of banksias—inviting viewers into a slow, attentive relationship with nature.

Tetiana has exhibited in Kyiv and throughout Australia, with works held in the City of Sydney Civic Collection and private collections internationally. She is the winner of the Gallery 11:11 Art Prize and a finalist in popular Australian awards including the Hunters Hill Art Prize, Bluethumb Art Prize, Northern Beaches Summer Art Prize, Newcastle Art Space Prize, and Brunswick Street Gallery Small Works Prize.
