Presenter:

Tricia grew up in Geelong and has lived in various towns across country Victoria and NSW before settling near the beach in beautiful Bunbury, WA. An avid reader, Tricia regards reading as one of life’s greatest joys. Throughout her long teaching career, she made it her mission to share that love of literature with others.

Today, Tricia writes stories that celebrate strong relationships and relatable characters, stories that draw readers in and leave them wanting more.


About the festival:

The City of Bunbury Public Libraries presents the inaugural Literacy Festival, a vibrant, community-focused celebration of reading, writing and storytelling. Across 12 days and 21 events, the festival will bring stories to life through interactive storytelling, inspiring author talks, creative writing workshops, drawing sessions, family-friendly activities and literacy-focused programs for all ages.

The festival promotes essential lifelong literacy skills while showcasing local authors and illustrators. Free or low-cost and open to all, the festival reinforces that literacy is for everyone.
