Author Event: Jacinta Rose at Smithton Library

Smithton LibrarySmithton, TAS
Tuesday, Mar 24 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Overview

Meet local author Jacinta Rose as she shares her delightful children's picture books at this special Tasmania Reads event.

Jacinta is a storyteller, illustrator, and librarian based in Tasmania. With a strong passion for children’s emotional wellbeing, she creates picture books that gently explore big feelings in young readers.

Her debut book, When the Bear Comes to Visit, was inspired by her own experiences and her desire to help children feel safe, seen, and understood.

She continued this journey with her second book, When the Owl Won’t Stop Asking, which encourages curiosity while helping calm a busy mind.

Through soft illustrations and gentle storytelling, Jacinta’s books aim to bring comfort, reassurance, and calm.

Books and merchandise will be available to purchase.
