Australia is known around the world for its unique fauna, especially the Kangaroos, but it has just as many Unique plants. These plants intrigued the European Botanist and poisoned a few of the early Explorers. However, the first Australians, our Aboriginal peoples, may have had a similar experience thousands of years ago, but developed ways of using these plants for food and fibre. On this walk we will meet some of these Unique plants and learn about their interactions with humans. Some good, some tragic, but always interesting.
