CSC MIEAust CPEng RPEQ, Nova Systems
In late 2009 the Commonwealth was having issues verifying and certifying the European based weapons testing on the Tiger Attack Helicopter. The most problematic of the weapons suite was the 70mm rocket system. To provide a valid basis for certification, the Commonwealth developed dedicated measurement equipment and a unique methodology to verify rocket system accuracy. This presentation details the tools, rationale, methodology and analysis of the Ballistics Verification Testing conducted during the Rocket Test Campaign completed 16 Jun to 11 Jul 10 and includes video of weapons delivery.
Mark Cook has over 27 years of experience in both Defence and Defence Industry. He currently works for Nova Systems Australia.
