The European Union (EU) Centre at RMIT and the Slovenian Australian Academic Association (SAAA) are very pleased to invite you to an event at RMIT University on Monday the 22nd of May 2017 (10am-4pm), to discuss current and future research opportunities.
Opening Address:
H.E. Mrs Helena Drnovšek-Zorko, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Australia.
Welcome:
Professor Bruce Wilson, Director of EU Centre at RMIT University.
Key Note 1:
Professor Glenda Sluga, ARC Laureate Fellow, Professor of International History, University of Sydney on 'Why and When Slovenia Matters'.
Key Note 2:
Professor Zlatko Skrbiš, President of the University of Ljubljana Global Alumni & Associates Network (SMUL) & Vice-Provost (Graduate Education, Monash University) on 'The Future of International Collaboration in Education and Research'.
Plus:
Other speakers from the Slovene Diaspora in Australia connected with industry and academia in addition to researchers associated with Australia-EU relations.
A light lunch will be served after the presentations.
A dinner (at own cost) will follow after the event for those who wish to attend.
