The Austin Dept of Intensive care is hosting its inaugural ventilation symposium on Friday, August 16 2019. Please join us for an educational day on practical approaches to ventilation and the supporting machines.

This educational day is aimed at experienced bedside clinicians to provide a review, update and discussion around current practices whilst expanding your knowledge. Presentations will include physiological and pathophysiological concepts, engineering and device fundamentals, software functions and additional ventilator features.

Updates and reflections on current research, opinions, discussion, what really matters and “how-to” will be included.

Ventilators will be a common thread and lead to vendor presentations before concluding with a Q & A with the audience.

Austin, local and special guest speakers will make for an exciting inaugural ventilation forum.

Carparking Passes

If you have ticked 'YES' for a car parking pass you can pick it up at the end of the day along with your attendance certificate. To enter the Austin Tower/Mercy car park, collect your pink entry ticket. You will receive a white exit ticket to scan at the boomgates on the way out.

Parking is available at the Heidelberg Train Station for free.
