Let Jess guide you through how simple shapes can be used to create the Australian animal illustrations found in her book, Bush.

About Jess Racklyeft

Jess Racklyeft is a Melbourne based author and illustrator, and creator of over 30 picture books. Working in watercolours, mixed media and on her computer, her work has won several awards including the CBCA Picture Book of the Year award in 2022 for her book Iceberg (written by Claire Saxby). She loves to celebrate nature, conservation and the environment, with many animals and plants sprinkled across the pages of her books!
