AUSMASA Critical Control Management Workforce Insights Group Workshop - QLD
Join us to share your knowledge and experience on frontline leadership and critical control management within the mining industry.
VENUE TBC - Mackay, QLD
The Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance (AUSMASA) is seeking experienced frontline supervisors, superintendents, and managers in the mining industry to share insights on the occupational purpose, job tasks and functions against key critical areas for safe supervision and management on a mine site.
This workshop will consist of interactive and engaging discussions to enable all attendees to share their experiences and knowledge, as well as a great opportunity to network with other industry members.
As we embark on our new Critical Control Management for Mine Site Supervisors and Managers project, we seek to engage with personnel on the ground with lived experience in safety leadership, people and risk management, and Safety & Health Management Systems.
This project aims to more closely align the units of competency with the responsibilities and expectations of supervisory roles under the management framework for identifying, controlling, and monitoring hazards on mine sites. Units of competency will be updated with close attention to Critical Control Management principles and statutory mine management responsibilities.
