About this event

Auslan Storytimes are fun interactive storytelling sessions, aimed at supporting early literacy development in Auslan and written English.

The Storytime sessions will be presented by a Deaf storyteller in Auslan, with an Auslan interpreter who reads a story out loud in English with the support of a City of Ryde librarian.

The sessions are tailored for deaf and hard of hearing children, ages 3 to 7 years and their care givers, families and other support people.

Parents or guardians are required to stay for the duration of the session.

Bookings are essential, as spaces are limited, so please register all participants, including carers.

Sessions are run fortnightly for 30 minutes during school terms. There are no sessions during NSW school or public holidays.

All sessions are presented by Deaf Connect and City of Ryde Library staff.

We look forward to having you there!
