Deep diving into Glass Onion (Johnson, 2022), Mad Max: Fury Road (Miller, 2015) and Psycho (Hitchcock, 1960) for the Media classroom!
Join us for an after-school webinar deep diving into three Narrative texts that you can use in the VCE Media classroom and other year levels!
- Kayla McCarthy will be teaching Glass Onion (Johnson, 2022) for N&C - a deep dive into key scenes, representations, and contexts of Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion.
- Nick Zomer will be teaching Mad Max: Fury Road (Miller, 2015) for Narrative & their Contexts - a deep dive into key scenes, representations, and contexts of George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road.
- Brett Jenkins will be teaching Psycho (Hitchcock,1960).The iconic shower scene! This deep dive session will explore the 1960’s classic and one of Hitchcock’s most iconic films by exploring the thriller genre alongside representation of gender, feminism, and crime. Despite being a black and white film, this text engages students of a variety of year levels but also academic abilities.
