A half day professional learning seminar about U1 O3 - Australian Stories online on Zoom.
Teachers of ATOM will take teachers through U1 O3 to equip them with knowledge, resources and reassurance going forward. This session is aimed at educators of any experience level. There are always many real stories to tell accompanied by applicable classroom resources from our experienced teachers.

About our Presenters
Hatice Huseyin is a VCE Teacher of Media at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School. She previously taught Media from year 9-12 at Copperfield College, with English as the second major, over the course of 16 years. Prior to that Hatice has taught Media in Independent schools, Government schools, Private schools locally and internationally to junior and senior students. She has participated in various film making initiatives from Splash to React and worked with Road Safety Australia. Her strengths lie in film making and Premiere Pro. She has qualifications in Arts Multidisciplinary, Diploma in Education, and a Postgraduate in Cinema Studies. In London she taught Media to A levels. Film is an ongoing passion along with working with young people. She has been a member of ATOM since time began.
Daniel Hennequin is a Media Education Lecturer at Monash University. He is also a VCE Media Studies, VCE Studio Art, and English educator based in Melbourne. He also works for the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) in VCE Media Exam assessing and exam development. Daniel is a current ATOM Board Member and Education Committee member, and has presented seminars on Media Studies assessment tasks and exam preparation for ATOM, Engage Education and TSSM. He is skilled in film theory and production as well as photography and art.
