In this 90 minute webinar, experienced Media teachers Travis Mckenzie and Nick Zomer will take you through Artificial Intelligence tools and how they can be used in the classroom, especially for the New Media Study Design.

With a presentation linking to the Victorian curriculum and examples from the classroom, this webinar is valuable for teachers of all experience levels wanting to discuss AI in the classroom, ask questions, and bounce ideas.

About our Presenters

Travis McKenzie leads the Arts and Technology Learning Area at the new Wurun Senior Campus and is the current Chair of the ATOM education committee. He has worked with VCAA as a curriculum consultant, developing content for the revised Media Study Design as well as Art Making and Exhibiting. He has previously been on the selection panel for Top Screens, and is a sessional workshop leader in the College of Arts and Education at Victorian University. Travis also writes a column for AEU News Victoria.

Nick Zomer is an experienced Media and VCD teacher based at Caulfield Grammar - Wheelers Hill. Nick has been an active member of the Australian Teachers of Media Education Committee for the last six years, and is a current ATOM Board Member. Annually he completes VCAA Exam assessing for both Media and VCD. Nick is passionate about supporting teachers of Media through sharing of resources, ideas and curriculum content.
