2025 ASSCR EMCR Symposia Series

ASSCR is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 ASSCR Early-to-Mid-Career Researcher (EMCR) Symposia Series! These events are FREE for all ASSCR members, and feature a unique career development session tailored to EMCRs!

The ASSCR is pleased to invite you to our 2025 NSW EMCR Symposium. We welcome all EMCRs: students from Honours to Masters, all PhD candidates, Postdocs, RAs, Lab Techs &amp; Industry Reps! Join us for your 1-day local in-person symposium on June 27th at the University of Sydney. The event will be in the Charles Perkins Centre seminar room. This meeting builds on our successes and is part of a series of interstate symposia held mid-year.This collaborative and engaging series is designed as a platform for EMCRs at all career stages to showcase the cutting-edge science produced by Australia's next generation of researcher leaders. These symposia are a supportive environment organised by EMCRs for EMCRs. Presenters are encouraged to share ongoing projects and developments so we may all expand our local networks and learn from each other. As such, this meeting will cover a wide array of stem cell research topics, including, but not limited to:<ul><li>Disease modelling</li><li>Vector design and gene editing</li><li>Cell and gene therapy strategies</li><li>Regenerative medicine</li><li>Organoids</li><li>Spatial transcriptomics</li><li>Computational biology</li><li>Developmental biology</li></ul>________________________________________Abstracts are due by May 22nd! Only 300 words and the title should be short and snappy! Abstract submission is part of the registration process through Eventbrite when registering as a presenter.
