Is the retreat suitable for beginners?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the yoga, breathwork & meditation and workshops are all suitable for all levels. I often modifications for all levels.

The freediving is also very suitable for beginners and if more advanced we can arrangements for deeper dives if necessary.

Question 2

Is the resort close to the airport?

Accepted Answer

It's 3.5 hours drive away. We will all head up together at 10am on 26th September from a hotel close to the airport in Sanur or from beautiful Ubud.
We will stop on the way for a lunch with a volcano view en route to the resort.

Question 3

When does the retreat start? When should I fly in to Bali?

Accepted Answer

We head to the resort at 10am on Friday 26th Sept. I would recommend flying in on Thursday 25th Sept.  There are flights in the morning getting in around lunchtime with Virgin or there are evening flights leaving Sydney around 4/5pm, getting in around 9pm or later.

I will recommend a hotel for us

Can I stay a bit longer before or after the retreat?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can fly in earlier if you want to and meet us in Ubud, at the resort or volcano.

If you want to stay on before or after the retreat at Gaia Oasis I can ask if there is availability. After the retreat we often have lunch in Ubud and head to the airport from there.

When does the retreat end?

Accepted Answer

The retreat ends on Thurs 2nd Oct 11am so the night flight or later is best.

We often go into Ubud for shopping and lunch then head off to the airport from there.  There is also an option of diving or snorkelling with the manta rays on the way towards the airport (extra cost) to end trip on a high!

I am unsure about the Freediving part?

The freediving is optional. It is very beginner friendly and students last year felt really anxious about it and loved it.

I would recommend giving it a go and you are very welcome to sit it out and relax around the pool or just snorkel if it's not for you and you can still join the snorkel trip

Twin Share is $2,999 with $500 deposit                                                                                                                          Single Supplement is $3,333 with $500 deposit  - including all meals, yoga, workshops, freediving (extra for hiring some equipment)
