The Australian Standard 1288-2006 Glass in buildings - Selection and Installation applies to all residential glazing installations in Australia.
This workshop covers the basics of the standard in Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 as they apply to residential glazing applications and includes:
- Scope, materials and definitions
- Glass selection
- Human impact
- Installation
- External glazing, including balustrading
- Interior glazing— showerscreens, mirrors, wardrobes, etc

Anyone who needs a detailed understanding of the requirements of AS1288:2006 as it applies to residential glazing. This includes glaziers, sales representatives, estimators, architects, engineers, or others who need to specify glass requirements for residential applications.
