Artist Talk - Conversations with my Father

Alan Todd

Alan has created art for more than fifty years. His experiences at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London led him to an art practice that wasn't contained to one medium but rather he developed a love of many, including sculpture.

This current body of work was born out of a somewhat ambivelent relationship with his father. Their lives were poles apart but it was their mutual love of wood that created a connection between them.
