Artist Statements Workshop

Sandra will discuss the role of Artist Statements in depth and give you the tools to write your own for entering the City’s art prize. It will clarify the difference between a biography, a CV and an Artist Statement without going into depth on the first two.

Areas covered will include: Why have them? What are they for?

This workshop will be illustrated by shared examples and feature a deep dive into writing statements.
