Over the past four months, artists in residence Negative Space have transformed the Minor Works building into a community info-shop, art space and activity centre facilitated by Alycia Bennett (Adelaide) and Florian Cinco (Philippines) in collaboration with a number of artists from Australia and the Philippines.

Negative Space welcome you to their open studio for their final activities and closing party on Friday September 27th from 2pm – 9pm. The event will involve sharing the collaborative works formed throughout the duration of their residency and activities through-out the day will include art making, skill sharing, cooking, Really Really Free Market and an open mic/jam. Negative Space encourages an open and inclusive environment, uniting communities and creating local networks through social action.

ART WORKS is a program of residencies and creative workshops designed to provide a city-based platform for artists to pursue new ways of working and engaging with audiences. This initiative is delivered by Guildhouse in partnership with the City of Adelaide at the Minor Works Building.
