Art Play Date encourages toddlers to learn about one artwork through songs, movement and games. During each session, children go into the gallery space to view the focus artwork, followed by a loose parts play session that gives them lots of time to explore objects inspired by what they have seen.
The autumn 2024 program (March-April) explores artist Lee Ming-Wei's living artwork, Bodhi Tree Project 2006, at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA).
When
We offer three Art Play Date programs per year commencing in autumn, winter and spring. Please note that content is repeated across all dates in a season.
Sessions are scheduled on selected Tuesdays at 10:15am and 11:30am and run for approximately 45 minutes.

The autumn 2024 program (March-April) takes place at GOMA. The program will commence outside the gallery doors in the Bodhi Tree Terrace before moving into the Seminar Room.
Two days prior to your event date, you will receive a reminder email with further information about the session.
Cost
$10 per child or $7 for QAGOMA Members. Parents and carers attend free of charge.
