At Art Explorers, children have fun learning about an artwork through an interactive discussion, games and storytelling, before going on a guided adventure through the gallery to discover the artwork in person. Children can then participate in a making activity inspired by what they have seen.
The autumn 2024 program (March-April) explores artist Mavis Ngallametta's work, Little Swamp on the Way to Obun 2018 on display at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA).
When
We offer three Art Explorers programs per year commencing in autumn, winter and spring. Please note that content is repeated across all dates in a season.
Sessions are scheduled on selected Wednesdays at 10:15am and run for approximately 45 minutes.

One week prior to your event date, you will receive a reminder email with further information about the session.
Cost
$10 per child or $7 for QAGOMA Members. Parents and carers attend free of charge.
