What is contact-less dancing?

Accepted Answer

In the current climate and to protect our studio patrons we do not require our teachers to dance with students but it is at their discretion. 
We also do not require other students to dance with other students and we do not force those who came with partners to swap.

Question 2

What shoes and clothing do I wear?

Accepted Answer

Somewhere between casual wear and after 5-attire is best. 
LADIES: Low or high-heeled enclosed shoes and non-restrictive clothing. We don’t recommend mini-shorts or pencil skirts or gym shoes are they restrict movement.
MEN: Enclosed leather shoes

Question 3

Do I need a partner to attend class?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely NOT. All individuals are welcomed and encouraged.
If you have a partner we do not for you to swap and dance with others.

Question 4

Do I need previous dance experience?

Accepted Answer

Heck no! This is for RAW dancers, those who have never learned to dance before.
NO experience is necessary.
FUN is a must!

Question 5

Do you offer a free "taster class?"

Accepted Answer

No, but we can offer you a FREE class if you pre-purchase an 8-Dance Card, you collect it on your first lesson and we stamp the first lessons out of it for you to use upfront. It saves you $35 over 8 classes and gives you 1 free, essentially you're paying for 7 classes but get access to 8 classes.

What happens at the end of the month?

Accepted Answer

You re-register for the next month's Starter Class or you'll be invited into the 7pm class to learn more dances, more steps and develop your dancing more.

I have an 8-Dance Card what ticket type do I use?

Accepted Answer

Then you will need to register via Eventbrite Ticket Registering system.
CHOOSE: PRE-PAID [8-DANCE CARD] Option.
We will stamp your card for the full amount of classes for that month when you come in. 
You must bring your valid 8-dance card with you.

Question 8

My 8-Dance Card doesn't have enough credit remaining, what do I do?

Accepted Answer

You have two main options:
1. Buy a new card now, collect it in the studio on the first class.
2. Register via PRE-PAID [8-Dance Card] option and then pay CASH for a new card or the difference between what you have on your card and the remaining classes for the month.

What if I can't make a class?

Accepted Answer

We honour commitment so by signing up you're committing to ALL classes above otherwise, you are taking the spot of someone else for that class. We can’t offer refunds, credits or transfers for any missed classes. If you have an emergency or pressing issue then contact us and we may be able to work o

Who is the class perfect for?

Accepted Answer

This class is perfect for those just starting out. If you have no previous dance experience and just want to learn a few simple steps for that next event or kick-start a new hobby - you will love this class.
Ages range from the '20s, '30s, '40s, '50s and beyond.

2. Slow Rhythm
3. Cha Cha
4. Jive
Once you complete 1 or more Starter Class Terms and join the Beginner classes from 7pm; we add in further steps in the above dances and also add Rumba, Tango & Introduce Progressive Dances & New Vogue Dances
