Electric Vehicle Test Drive Day

Eagers Automotive and RACQ are hosting an EV Test Drive Day where you can find out everything you need to know about owning an electric vehicle and get a feel for driving an EV before you make the switch and purchase your first EV.

These 1-hour sessions will be hosted at the RACQ Mobility Centre in Cornubia, Brisbane on Wednesday 15 May 2024.

On the day, participants get to choose up to three electric vehicles to test drive from the available range and learn the basics of electric vehicle functions and ownership from our on-site experts.

The RACQ Car Buying Service provided by Eagers will be on hand to assist with getting you one step closer to owning your new electric vehicle.

Session Details

Please register for your preferred session between by using the 'select a time' button top right. There are five session times available each day:

• 1st Session: 9:00am to 10:00am
• 2nd Session: 10:30am to 11:30am
• 3rd Session: 12:00pm to 1:00pm
• 4th Session: 1:30pm to 2:30pm
• 5th Session: 3:00pm to 4:00pm

E vent Details

• Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest but if your guest is also test driving a vehicle, they will need to complete a separate event registration.
• Format: On arrival you will need to sign a waiver and present your Driver Licence. You will then be able to select your three vehicles to test drive.
• Parking: parking is available onsite, on arrival please follow the signage to the dedicated parking zone.

Terms and Conditions

• All drivers will have the opportunity to test drive at least three vehicles.
• All drivers must be over 25 and hold a full driver licence which needs to be sighted on the day. Provisional and learner permits are not accepted.
• All drivers will be required to complete a liability waiver on the day prior to test driving.
• Each driver needs to complete a registration via Eventbrite to drive.
• To participate in an EV test drive session you are required to be an RACQ Member.
• A representative from the vehicle manufacturer will travel in the vehicle's front passenger seat during each test drive.
• Children under the age of 8 are not permitted to travel in the vehicles during the test drives as the vehicles are not fitted with child restraints. If children are accompanying you on the day please ensure a caregiver is present with them during your test drive.
• Please ensure closed in shoes are worn.
