At ANZ Talk of The Town Toastmasters, we provide a supportive and encouraging environment for all members and guests to develop their public speaking, communication and leadership skills.
We are a very friendly club and provide a structured yet relaxed and fun meeting experience for all participants.
You are very welcome to visit our club as a guest, no matter your level of public speaking experience!
Meeting frequency:
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 5.50pm for a 6.00pm start (AEST). We finish at 8:00pm.
Meetings are currently in-person at the ANZ building in Docklands. We are also offering a virtual option.
Meeting structure:
The meeting consists of up to 4 prepared speeches (delivered by members or a guest speaker), and Table Topics, where all participants have the opportunity to speak impromptu for 60-90 seconds.
As a guest, there is no obligation or pressure to speak, you are more than welcome to observe.
To visit us:
Select a date you wish to attend. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the address details or the video call link to join the meeting.
If you come in person, walk in through the doors of the ANZ building, go up the escalators and ask someone at reception for directions to Core C on the ground floor (at the back of the building on the left hand side, through the glass doors).
It is 100% free to visit us as a guest.
