We acknowledge Geelong and The Bellarine is Wadawurrung country.

We welcome visitors to our region, a place we acknowledge has been cared for by the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation for thousands of years.

The environment is a key reason visitors choose this destination. Traditional Owners sharing the beauty and joy of these lands and waterways is a privilege, one we repay with respect for their country, Elders and people.

About Us

Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine is the Regional Tourism Organisation spanning from Werribee to Barwon Heads, incorporating Bannockburn, Geelong, Portarlington and all the areas in between.

Our core role is to increase tourism yield for our region. We do this, by making consumers aware of our region, bringing people to our destinations, getting them to stay longer and spend more.

We are a member-based organisation working in partnership with several municipalities across the region.

We operate with the support of three local governments in the region – City of Greater Geelong, Golden Plains Shire and the Borough of Queenscliffe.

Combined, we represent over 800 members from all aspects of the tourism industry. Consistent with our 'working in partnership' philosophy, Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine is led by a Foundation Board, consisting of 10 delegates plus a chairman representing industry and municipal tourism interests.
