Anime Club is not just about watching anime - we will also have games, trivia, manga, art activities, culture and much more!
Whether you've never watched anime before or consider yourself a superfan, come and join us on the first Thursday of every month.
Please advise us of any dietary requirements or allergies as delicious Japanese snacks and soft drinks will be provided.
Club Dates 2026: First Thursday of every month, apart from school holidays. You only need to register once per year to be able to attend all term sessions:
Feb 5th, March 5th, April 2nd, May 7th, June 4th, July 2nd, August 6th, September 3rd, October 1st, November 5th and December 3rd.
Everyone between ages 14-19 is welcome. Anime Club is a safe space for our LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse friends.

- This event is for teens aged 14-19 years. Anyone outside this age range will not be permitted to attend.
- Anime Club is a safe space for our LGBTQIA+, d/Disabled and Neurodiverse friends. Please let us know if you require any accommodations to best participate in Anime Club.
- You must be a Library member to attend this event. Library membership is free, and you can join online today or at any branch during opening hours.
- You only need to register once per year to be able to attend all sessions.
- Feel free to come in Cosplay!
- If you are unable to attend the course, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate.
- The ticket is not transferable.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.
- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.
