Fairfield City Museum & GallerySmithfield, NSW
Thursday, Jan 22, 2026 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am AEDT
Overview

Join our exciting clay workshop for kids who love creatures and critters!

Local artist David Capra will teach kids everything they need to know about sculpting a clay portrait of their pet or another animal they would love to own.

Is a pet a special member of your family? Is there a wild animal your child would love to tame? What does this animal they look like, are they silly or graceful? David will encourage kids to imagine their pet or favourite creature and instruct them on planning their animal portraits, so they can bring them to life in clay.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 - 12 years old.

Please note that a parent or guardian must remain on site for the duration of the workshop.
