Anglesea Barracks Open Day
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) will open Anglesea Barracks Hobart to the community on Saturday 14 March 2026.
The public will have the opportunity to interact with more than 30 exhibitors from the Australian Defence Force, as well as Federal and State Government and community organisations.
Exhibitors will display a range of equipment, capabilities, historical items, simulators, roles and support functions. The public will also be able to meet Australian Defence Force members and find out more about career opportunities in the ADF.
A display program including demonstrations from local units, military bands, military historical associations, and cadets will also take place throughout the day. Some artillery and rifle blank firing will be part of the demonstrations.
There will be food available for purchase from local vendors and a free shuttle bus from the Regatta Grounds.
