Ancestral Roots | Cacao: Bean Roasting, Ceremony, Sound & Energy Healing

Learn the way of Samoa as we handcraft and brew Sacred Cacao together by the fire, before sitting in a deep heart journey of sound & energy.

You're invited to join Fipe, Simone and Jasmine, in sacred communion with their long time plant medicine teacher - Mama Cacao or as Samoan traditions call her "Koko" - blood of the ancestors.

As Cacao becomes widespread through our spiritual communities it is important to acknowledge that often Cacao is shared in ways disconected from ritual or reciprocity to the communities who have cultivated their medicine for generations. This is a fundraising event where 100% of proceeds will be donated to rehabilitate the Living Koko Samoan Cacao plantations and support their community custodians devastated by fire.

In a journey of Ancestral Roots, you will be reminded of what it feels like to ground into the gentle holding of Mother Nature in deep reverence, harmony and stewardship of all living beings.

May you remember the old ways of sitting in community by the fire, feet on the land and feel a deeper meaning of the Sacredness of Cacao.

What you will experience:

• Hear of the ancestral ways of Living Koko and the homeland traditions of the Samoan people - the custodians of the Cacao who bury their ancestors into the ground where the Cacao plants grows. Communing with "Koko" signifies communing with people and land as one - interconnected and symbiotic.
• Freshly roast cacao beans by the open fire, grind and turn them into ceremonial cacao to drink in ceremony together just as the Samoan people traditionally do
• Sit in Ceremony and receive a deeply loving sound and energy healing journey amongst heartled community

Cacao bean roasting + brew creation

The afternoon will begin with sitting by the fire and connecting with one another + the land through the true ways of creating the Cacao brew from scratch.

No already pre-made powders ready to go. Roasting the beans, making the paste and then the collective brew for the Ceremony. Feeling, smelling and allowing Cacao to envelop us body and spirit - an art of love, patience and devotional effort.

We will sit and learn with Fipe, the custodian of ancestral Samoan knowldege and creator of Living Koko, where she'll guide us through the old ways of her motherland, like they have been connecting with Cacao medicine for centuries.

Sacred Cacao Ceremony

Simone and Fipe will open the space container with a cacao blessing, honoring all the lands and the ancestors. With cacao in our body vessel, be ready to nestle up meanwhile sounds and spoken words will guide us into a deep meditative state.

Cacao is a potent plant medicine which opens the heart space and allows the unveiling of the heart’s shadows. Bliss, joy, love, peace, sadness or a deep sense of stillness may be experienced.

Sound + Energy Healing Meditation Journey

Jasmine will guide us into a live-channeled energy healing meditation to activate our heart's Electromagnetic Resonance Field. We will work to integrate the energy field of Mother Earth’s core and our Higher Self - bridging our earthly self and our spiritual self to feel centred and whole.

Then be lovingly held, physically, emotionally and energetically, through the vibrational healing frequencies of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, Shamanic medicine and ocean drums, wind chimes, flutes and handpan.

The group container will be charged with Universal Reiki frequencies and healing touch. Vibrational mists and herbal incense and smokes may be also used during the journey.

All the profits received by the ticket sales will be donated to the fundraiser for the replantation and restoration of the Cacao native land of Living Koko - Savaii in Samoa, which was afflicted by devastating fires on December 2025. The precise location address will be sent after booking your spot, as it is a private location in Kangaroo Ground.

We suggest arriving by 1:45pm, to allow time to visit the bathroom and find your seat.

Please be on time to respect the other participants. Doors will be closed sharply at 2:15pm for ceremonial safety. Understandably, you will not be permitted to enter after this time.

Preparation

Yoga mats, blankets and cushions will be present in the space, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Also please bring the following items:

- Water bottle

- Wear comfortable, warm, loose clothing that enables movement with ease

- Eye-mask/bandana (highly recommended)

- Any sacred or familiar items to support you (crystal, feathers, cushion, teddy bear, etc.)

- Please refrain from wearing strong cologne/perfumes (in respect of others with allergies)

- Snacks, to ground after the Journey, before driving home

Lolopō Fipe is a Samoan cacao guardian, and co-founder of Living Koko, her lineage in cacao goes back over 200 years from the Islands of Samoa.

Holding space with deep reverence, she weaves ancestral wisdom, storytelling, and cacao rituals to guide others into stillness and self-connection. As a facilitator, Fipe creates a nurturing environment where cacao becomes a bridge to the heart-awakening clarity, grounding the spirit, and fostering renewal.

Rooted in Polynesian traditions, her presence is both gentle and powerful, inviting participants to embrace self-love, reflection, and healing. Through cacao, she holds space for transformation, honoring its sacred energy as a vessel for balance, grace, and inner peace.

Simone upholds a special relationship with the Elements and Mother Earth. This Simone upholds a special relationship with the Elements and Mother Earth. This relationship stems from many lifetimes of exploring rituals and undertaking sacred plant medicine ceremonies, following shamanic ancient traditions + the rites of passage and honoring his plants and human teachers.

He came into his body in the Northern Hemisphere of the planet, in a little town surrounded by mountains, rivers, forest and wildlife. Simone has been moving around since a young age looking for a place to call home, when he finally realised that this place is within him, in the heart centre, Anahata.

Simone is a space holder, ceremonialist, Reiki master, sound healer and Yoga teacher who draws upon different tools in his offerings, in reverence of the lineage that he has be initiated in as: Reiki energy healing, guided meditations, Himalayan Kundalini kriyas, Pranayama, sound and sacred Cacao Ceremonies. The connection between Simone and Cacao medicina and the Elements is profound, full of respect and reverence.

Jasmine of Solflower Seeds is an empathic Integral Energetics practitioner, sensitive soul mentor and plant spirit medicine woman. She works with gentle and restorative vibrational herbal medicine, nervous system energy work and sound healing to clear blocks in your subtle energy bodies and empower your reason for being.

Jasmine works by vibrationally attuning to your energetic field and her psychic relationship to the plant and spirit world to support 'connecting the dots' between you now and your higher self that’s wishing to emerge - some might call this a 'flowering of the soul.'

She adores playing ‘matchmaker’ to connect humans to their plant spirit guides, in particular, her forest-crafted flower essences and their devas. It is no wonder her parents named her Jasmine!

Sessions aim to support your transformation for spiritual awakening, emotional healing and heart-centred wholeness. It's Jasmine's mission to spread the message that 'Sensitivity is Divinity' as she empowers empaths with tools for childhood, ancestral and relational healing, nervous system regulation, boundaries, self-advocacy and freedom from overwhelm to realise the power of their sensitivity.
