Hotel Trentham thrilled to welcome two of Australian sports most highly respected sportspeople and media personalities, Mark Allen and David Schwartz for an evening of incredible storytelling, insights and laughs.

Mark Allen played golf on Professional Tours around the world for 15 years - including the 1999 British Open.He worked at SEN and Macquarie Sports Radio with David “The Ox” Schwarz for well over a decade.

Currently, Mark can be heard on 3AW Breakfast as a “Fill In” Host with Jimmy Bartel. He can also be heard regularly throughout the year as a contributor across all 3AW programs.He is the Host of Australia’s most listened to Golf Podcast “Talk birdie to Me” with Nick O’Hern.

Mark was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer in December 2018 - his survival story is a beauty.

A must listen for the health of both MEN and WOMEN.


David "The Ox" Schwarz was a rising powerhouse in the AFL.
Big, Strong, Fast, Nimble and Fearless. Many Experts and Commentators of the day had him at or approaching the best Forward in the game.

His football life was cut down by three serious knee injuries and a gambling habit that has to be heard to be believed.

The Ox has been completely off the punt since 2005 and his message is a powerful one that has helped many people fight and understand Gambling Addiction.

He also worked at SEN and Macquarie Sports Radio with Mark Allen for well over a decade.“The Ox” can still be heard on 3AW as Sports Contributor with Tom Elliott and on SEN as a Football Caller, on Sunday Morning’s 8-10am and as a regular across the station.
