About this event
The Micah Women Leaders Network is honoured to be hosting an evening gathering for the Brisbane chapter of our network on 13th March.
The evening will feature Asuntha Charles, Global Women’s Rights Advocate. Asuntha was the National Director for World Vision Afghanistan during the Taliban takeover. Prior to that Asuntha worked in fragile contexts including Sri Lanka, Iraq and Sudan, for several leading NGOs. Most recently, Asuntha has been helping guide the international response to the crisis in Israel and Gaza. Asuntha will provide a firsthand account of the needs she is seeing around her, as well as her incredible testimony as a Christian leader in some of the world’s toughest contexts.
Tim Costello will connect current global events to our Biblical mandate to pursue justice.
You will also hear about the impact this Network is having in its influential advocacy with Australia’s Federal Politicians, and how you can be involved in 2024.
The cost of the evening includes finger food, drinks, time to mingle and connect as well as space to hear direct from Asuntha Charles and Tim Costello.
You are encouraged to invite other women leaders you believe would be inspired and empowered by this special gathering.
